The Time That I Actually Remembered to Put My Retainer In

By the end of this night, I am usually so tired that I am lucky if I get to wipe off my makeup with a baby wipe, and get my teeth brushed.

Last night, I surprisingly had a little bit of time to get ready for bed, meaning my husband was watching his show on TV, and so I was stuck. So I decided to take a little me time before I got too exhausted.

I brushed, flossed, mouth-washed, AND put my retainer in. Washed, toner-ed, moisturized, eye cream-ed, and used my Rare Minerals (by Bare Minerals) blemish powder. Lotion-ed my hands, and crawled into my warm bed (oh, how I love my heated mattress pad.)

This whole thing reminded me that during this crazy holiday season, it's important to take the time to take care of myself. It will help me be better at taking care of everyone else. Now, if only I could find the time to put lotion on my legs....
